YC's Subsidiary 'Master Package' Actively Expands Stores in Taiwan, Aiming for NT$150 Million in Annual Revenue
July 26, 2011
[Reporter Ho Mei-Ju, Taipei] YC Group (4306) subsidiary Xinzhou Global announced the opening of its packaging retail stores 'Master Package' in Pingzhen, Taoyuan, and Rende, Tainan. Currently, the total number of stores in Taiwan and China has reached eight, with a goal of expanding to 20 stores this year. At present, 'Master Package' has seven stores in Taiwan and plans to open 10 more this year, targeting an annual revenue of NT$150 million. In mainland China, in addition to the already opened Shanghai Baian business office, the company is looking for suitable locations in the Songjiang and Qingpu districts, expecting to begin normal operations in August.
'Master Package' is a personal consumer retail chain established by YC's subsidiary Xinzhou Global, with a registered capital of NT$100 million, equally held by YC and ACHEM (1715). Currently, there are eight stores in total (including seven in Taiwan and one in Shanghai), with a target of opening 20 stores across both regions this year.
YC stated that 'Master Package' has been actively planning to expand its operations in major cities across Taiwan and China since 2011. In addition to selling the group’s own products, it has also introduced a series of international packaging products. Since its opening, the chain has managed to break even due to effective cost control. The company continues to innovate in both hardware and software, focusing on strict quality and branding requirements for its products, establishing a detailed distribution network to lower costs, and engaging in proactive marketing and promotion efforts, all demonstrating its ambition to become a leading player in the packaging retail industry and its growing competitive strength. |
