YC (4306) reported that its consolidated revenue for the second quarter reached NT$4.155 billion, a 14% increase from NT$3.637 billion in the first quarter. Internal sources indicated that this growth was primarily driven by strong global demand for packaging materials, with both shipment volumes and prices rising in the second quarter, leading to expectations for continued revenue growth in the third quarter.
In June, YC's consolidated revenue was NT$1.579 billion, a 25% increase from May and a 40.26% increase compared to the same month last year. Cumulatively, the first half of the year saw consolidated revenue reach NT$7.706 billion, reflecting a substantial growth of 121.22% compared to NT$3.483 billion in the same period last year.
Its subsidiary, ACHEM (1715), reported self-assessed revenue of NT$344 million for June, which is a 13.85% increase from NT$303 million in the same month last year, although it represented a 2.8% decrease from the previous month.
Internal sources stated that related industries, such as consumer goods and logistics, have entered their peak season. Additionally, with upstream raw material prices rising nearly 30%, the company has implemented monthly price increases. The recognition of NT$279 million in revenue from Wangzhou Construction has further stabilized the monthly consolidated revenue at over NT$1.5 billion. |
