Taiwanese adhesive tape leader YC Group (4306) reported a full-year revenue of NT$17.56 billion for the previous year, with a net profit after tax of NT$363 million and earnings per share (EPS) of NT$0.73. Among its subsidiaries, Xinzhou Global (3171) showed the most remarkable performance, with a net profit after tax increasing by over 40% year-on-year.
Achem (1715) reported a full-year revenue of NT$11.97 billion and a net profit after tax of NT$199 million, with an EPS of NT$0.49. Xinzhou Global's revenue was NT$1.73 billion, with a net profit after tax of NT$83 million, marking a 43% increase compared to the previous year's net profit of NT$58 million. The EPS reached NT$1.41, demonstrating impressive operational performance.
Xinzhou Global attributed its performance to stable packaging material orders in Taiwan, as well as a reorganization of sales points and a change in sales strategy to target key large manufacturers in the Chinese market. Despite inventory adjustments and provisions for bad debts, the company's operations grew by 40%.
Looking ahead, Xinzhou Global plans to expand into the tourist packaging markets in Taiwan's Hualien and Taitung areas, and enter the e-commerce sector. In China, the company will continue to establish service points in economic development zones across East China, North China, Central China, and South China, with expectations of maintaining a significant growth trend in revenue and profits this year. |
